Governor Holcomb’s effort to create thousands of Hoosier jobs has never
stopped and the results continue to be felt throughout the state in MAJOR ways.

 

Just in the few weeks since the legislative session ended, multiple Fortune
500 companies have been eager to do business in Indiana –– and they’ve
committed to create over3,000 new jobs and invest more than $900 million into
the Hoosier economy.

The bottom line: “Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb was on hand as Toyota Indiana
announced a major investment at the Princeton plant that will bring new jobs
and new electric vehicles to the Tristate. 1,400 jobs are coming to Toyota
Indiana as the company invests more than $800 million to expand production of

Holcomb said in a statement that the state’s, “business-friendly ecosystem
continues to bring innovative, cutting-edge companies like Apple to the Hoosier

The bottom line: “Amazon is employing thousands of Hoosiers and expanding
growth opportunities for the city of Fort Wayne,” said Interim Indiana
Secretary of Commerce Jim Staton. “This is great news from a global company
that continues to recognize Indiana as a top destination for job creation and
investment. This facility will serve countless customers across the country,
further cementing Indiana’s position as one of top states for doing business.”

[READ] Milwaukee Tool opens new service hub in Greenwood

The bottom line: “Milwaukee Tool invested nearly $7 million to lease a 150,000
square-foot building on South Tech Drive in Greenwood. The facility will be for
tool repair and warehousing space. The company plans to bring 450 new jobs to
the area by the end of 2025 and has already hired 120 employees. “We are
already involved in working with the community to make sure we have a
world-class work environment here and make sure that we are developing the most
exceptional talent that we can,” said Shane Moll, president of Milwaukee Tool.
Governor Holcomb pointed to this development as another indication of Indiana’s
strong economic momentum.
