This week, the House passed a plan to establish an independent, bipartisan commission to understand exactly what happened during the January 6th attack at the U.S. Capitol so we can prevent future acts of domestic violence and build a more resilient democracy.

Washington Republicans ousted one of their own colleagues from a leadership role simply because she spoke up and held Donald Trump accountable for inciting the January 6th riots with his lies about the election.
Washington Republicans are prioritizing their loyalty to Donald Trump and his "Big Lie" over the security of our country and democracy.
Their actions make it all the more clear why we need an unbiased group of leaders who are committed to putting our national security and democratic values before partisan politics and getting to the bottom of January 6th.
