I’ve always been a strong advocate for preserving Nevada’s natural beauty. I hold Lake Tahoe very close to my heart as it’s where my family and I have made so many memories together.
As one of the lakes with the purest water in the world, Lake Tahoe is an economic cornerstone for Nevada because of the thousands of tourists it attracts per year. This is why I’m proud to join my colleagues in support of the extended authorization of the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act.

From preventing fires and erosion to protecting endangered and native species, the benefits of extending the Lake Tahoe Restoration Act are plentiful. This bipartisan legislation provides federal funding that goes a long way in maintaining Lake Tahoe for generations to come.
I want our children and grandchildren to inherit our public lands in even better shape than we did. (After all, two-thirds of Nevada is made up of public lands!) So, I need your help in making sure that’s possible.
