John,
Unions are a cornerstone of the American labor movement and have proven vital to the health of our economy and our communities. Throughout history, organizing has helped reduce economic inequality, boost pay, and increase benefits for workers.
But for decades, wealthy corporations have been undermining the rights of their workers with shady union-busting tactics and substandard pay.
As workers across the country fight for better pay and protections — including striking workers at McDonald’s fighting for a $15 minimum wage right now — we have to support and enrich workers’ right to organize, which is exactly what the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act will do.
The PRO Act is the most comprehensive labor protection bill in decades, but it has stalled in the Senate after Barbara and her colleagues passed it through the House. Add your name to demand the Senate stand with workers and pass the PRO Act. [[link removed]]

The PRO Act is a bold proposal to make it easier for workers to join and organize unions in their fight for better wages and working conditions.
The bill that passed the House overrides legal union-busting methods like right-to-work laws and captive-audience meetings, and even gives independent contractors who have been left behind in the labor rights movement the right to collectively organize.
Passing the PRO Act into law is an important step to strengthen worker power and hold wealthy corporations accountable for their violations and devious tactics.
But right now, the bill is being held up in the Senate, including by Democratic holdouts. John, we need to keep up the pressure to ensure the PRO Act reaches President Biden’s desk.
We must fight back against anti-worker attacks that are becoming too commonplace. Add your name to support the right to organize and demand the Senate pass the PRO Act. [[link removed]]
PASS THE PRO ACT [[link removed]]
We must keep working to create an economy where everyone can succeed.
Thank you for speaking out,
