Rachel Maddow can’t get enough of Tim Ryan’s show-stopping floor speech.

Maddow was appalled when Republican leaders opposed an independent
commission to investigate the Capitol riot -- and thrilled when Tim Ryan
took his bold stand against this Republican cowardice.

Rachel Maddow and Tim Ryan both know it: the GOP is no longer living in

Despite Republican opposition, the House passed a bill to create a
bipartisan commission to investigate the January 6 riot.

But now it heads to the Senate, and Maddow is confident Republicans will
filibuster it. That means it’s dead on arrival:

A 50/50 split isn’t cutting it. We need Senators who actually go to work
with the American people in mind.

Expanding our Democratic Senate Majority is the only way we’ll make real
