[1]Women's March

Hey there, John.

This week has been a whirlwind for this Women's March team. In response to
breaking news about attacks on Roe v. Wade and the GOP's attempts to erase
the events of Jan. 6 from history, our women-led movement came together to
fight back, and to show that women and our allies will NOT tolerate these
Republican attacks on our rights, freedoms, and democracy.

But we can't slow down now,
John. There are some important
actions for Women's Marchers to take in the upcoming week — so read on to
hear how you can stay involved in our fight for a feminist future.

1. Call your Senators to urge them to pass the For The People Act.

For democracy to work for all of us, it must include us all. The For the
People Act will protect our freedom to vote by making voting options
accessible across all states, will give voters equal voice by preventing
billionaires from buying our elections, and will help elect leaders who
govern in our interests by drawing congressional districts to give fair
representation for all.

Here, you'll find directions, phone numbers, and a simple script for when
you make your call. [ [link removed] ]Call your Senators NOW and tell them to vote YES on

2. Join tomorrow's panel discussion: A Movement To Meet The Moment.

Hear from prominent social justice leaders — including Women's March's own
Executive Director Rachel Carmona and WM Board of Directors co-President
Rinku Sen — about how this moment in our resistance requires a different
approach to meet our greatest challenges. Throwing the old play book at
our current realities will not lead to the transformation that is needed
in our country and for ALL people.

Join us tomorrow over Zoom at 10 a.m. ET to learn how we're coming
together to change how we organize to win for ALL of us. [ [link removed] ]RSVP for

3. Take part in a National Service Industry Strike this Wednesday, May 26.

If you're able to do so, please join Women's March and our progressive
partners at One Fair Wage, UltraViolet, the Sunrise Movement, and others
for a National Service Industry strike.

We are banding together in solidarity to call for a $15 minimum
wage. [ [link removed] ]If you can, please join a wage strike in your city.
