Dear John, Over the past few months, we've engaged in an effort to elect pro-life advocates to school boards across the state. We are ecstatic to see twenty pro-life candidates win critical school board elections. As of today, county clerks have nearly completed counting ballots cast on election day. It appears the election is not quite over. In Salem-Keizer, Hillsboro, and West Linn-Wilsonville we have a handful of races that are still too close to call. We will keep you updated on the outcomes of these tight contests. Meanwhile, the closed-to-the-public legislative session in Salem continues to produce bad outcomes for vulnerable Oregonians. Planned Parenthood is trying to pass HB 2362, a direct assault on our pro-life and faith-based health care providers. If passed into law, HB 2362 would give the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) the ability to coerce pro-life health care entities into providing abortions. OHA will allow them to reach more patients, but in exchange, they will be forced to provide abortions. We need you to contact your legislators today! Ask them to protect pro-life and faith-based health care providers by voting NO on HB 2362. Because everyone deserves an advocate, |
