Dear John,

Following the recent ceasefire announcement from Israel, the shocking levels of antisemitism that have surged alongside anti-Israel protests remain a source of grave concern.

We have seen acts of antisemitic harassment, vandalism and violence across the world and on every social media platform. Whether it was the assaults on Jews in their neighborhoods from Los Angeles to London and many other points, or the over 17,000 tweets with variations on “Hitler was right” in the days following the onset of the Israel-Gaza conflict, the impact of this hatred is clear.

We have all felt the reverberations in our lives and in our communities.

During this alarming spike in antisemitism, the most powerful tool you have to respond with is your voice.

TAKE ACTION

You can report incidents of antisemitism to ADL as we work with elected officials, law enforcement and our teams of experts to track and respond to outbursts of antisemitism. We are offering rewards to help catch the attackers in situations such as the assault on Jews in Los Angeles. You can use your voice to report online antisemitism as well, using our cyber-safety action guide to help report toxic posts on major platforms. We are monitoring online activity, and pushing social media companies to stem the hate overflowing there.

Watch Webinar Video

We are here to keep you informed. We had thousands of registrations for our webinar yesterday: “Under Attack: The Surge of Antisemitism During the Conflict in Israel and the Region.” We have recorded the webinar and encourage you to view it and share it for the insights of ADL experts and our counterpart Dr. Dave Rich of Community Security Trust (UK), who explain the scope and potential long-term impact of the spike in antisemitism we are witnessing.

During the webinar, we suggested a number of resources we want to share with all of you.

HELPFUL RESOURCES

ADL remains steadfast in its commitment to fight antisemitism and hate with every ounce of energy we have. We have joined with a coalition of Jewish organizations today in a letter to the White House to call for swift additional actions to condemn and address antisemitism. We will amplify your voice as we call on leaders throughout our country to speak out and to stand alongside the Jewish community in the face of this wave of hate.

We are here to help you.

Sincerely,
