Republican leaders just came out against the bipartisan commission investigating the facts of the Capitol riot.

Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell have both bent over backwards to rewrite history and pretend January 6 was a normal day.

That’s an insult to every police officer in this country. Especially to the 140 officers who were injured defending our Capitol.

We have to invest in our workers. We have to compete with China. We have to beat climate change.

And we can’t do any of that with a major political party that refuses to accept reality.
