John, I just got back from Philadelphia, and I can’t tell you enough how proud and grateful I am for what we just pulled off. But almost immediately, we need to pivot our attention. Please stick with me while I unpack this, ok?

Our staff, Larry’s staff, and all the volunteers and donors around the country gave it EVERYTHING we had. And it paid off.

We didn’t win by 5 points. Or 10. Or 15. Or 20. We won by thirty points.

A margin like that doesn’t just happen magically. It takes WORK.

We knocked on thousands of doors, made nearly 500,000 phone calls, sent over 300,000 texts, and raised $1.3 million for Larry.

And because of that work — because of all our organizing — we have a chance to fight injustice and systemic inequality in Philadelphia for four more years.

That’s a beautiful thing. And it’s why I’m so grateful for the opportunity to do this work with all of you.

But now it’s time to pivot our attention. We have three more DA elections happening in June.

The stakes are honestly just as high for these races as they were for Larry’s. And it’s on all of us to organize just as hard for them.

We’ve officially put the police unions, Fraternal Order of Police, and right-wing PACs on notice.

They thought they could pull a fast one on us by dumping millions into Philadelphia and take back Larry’s seat.

They were dead wrong.

Because they didn’t factor in YOU.

But the truth is, their wallets are deep. Almost bottomless. And I can guarantee you that they’ll be back with a vengeance to once-again throw the kitchen sink at us and our DA’s.
