reproductive rights are under attack.

This week, the Supreme Court announced it would hear an abortion case over
the constitutionality of a Mississippi law that bans most abortions after
15 weeks. With Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett on the court, this
case represents a direct attack on Roe v. Wade.

Then, just days ago, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a law outlawing
abortions after only six weeks, which many have said amounts to an
outright ban on abortion. And Texas is one of at least a dozen states that
have recently adopted restrictive abortion laws.

These attacks have the potential to be deadly,
John. We know that outlawing abortion does not
stop people from seeking out abortions, it only makes abortions far more
dangerous.

Reproductive care is health care, and health care is a human right. That's
why Cori's fighting for every person's right to abortion, but the
far-right won't be defeated easily so we need this grassroots team to step

Let's make this clear: Reproductive rights are not only a women's issue.
This is a health care issue that impacts everyone including our trans and
non-binary family.

Since joining Congress, Cori has fought to protect every person's right to
abortion and pave the way for a future where abortion care is guaranteed
to everyone. Cori's been a vocal supporter of repealing the Hyde
Amendment, an outdated law that prohibits federal funding for abortions,
and is an original co-sponsor of Medicare for All.

John, Roe v. Wade is the law,
and no matter what tricks Republicans pull, Cori is determined to keep
fighting to protect reproductive rights.
