John,

Earlier this week, Madison’s own Mark Pocan joined Socialist Squad members AOC and Rashida Tlaib in their decision to not Stand with Israel during this time of crisis.

According to the New York Post:

A group of House Democrats led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced a resolution Wednesday to halt the Biden-approved sale of $735 million in weapons to Israel.

In addition to Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) joined in introducing the resolution.

It was co-sponsored by fellow “Squad” Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.), as well as Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.) and Rep. André Carson (D-Ind.)

[...]

Israel has come under attack by a barrage of rockets launched by Hamas from the Gaza Strip over the last week, sending residents fleeing for shelter as air raid sirens blare across Israel’s cities.

Democrats like far-left Madison liberal Mark Pocan have allowed this anti-Israel sentiment to seep into their party, and and outrageous comments from Pocan’s Squad buddies have added to anti-Semitism in the U.S.

The far left wants these extreme ideas to take over the Democrat Party. We can’t let Madison become the next Chicago, where the left-wing fringe has taken over the entire state.

The Republican Party of Wisconsin stands with Israel, a nation that has every right to defend itself against violence and the barrage of rockets from Hamas, and also stands for protecting our God-given liberties, promoting limited government and standing up for freedom across the state. If you would like to volunteer to ensure that we put a stop to the Democrats’ attempts at a far left, anti-Israel takeover of our state, click here.
