John, I joined McDonald's shareholders meeting yesterday to tell them the truth about poverty wages and inhumane working conditions in McDonald's stores. There's more pressure on the company than ever before and our demands are clear.

This week showed our movement is too powerful to be silenced. We showed up across the country and across the Internet. The results of our advocacy keep pouring in. On Thursday, Rhode Island became the ninth state to make a $15/hr minimum wage law, and we're just getting started.
