Republicans across the
country are slashing early voting, illegitimately purging voter rolls, and
removing polling places and ballot drop off boxes in low-income and Black
and brown neighborhoods.

That’s not all: In states from Texas to Florida, Republican state
legislatures are rushing to restrict vote by mail – the method that 69% of
Americans used to cast their ballots in the last election.

If we want to defend the right to vote from this wave of Republican
attacks, we must act now to pass H.R. 1, or the For the People Act of
2021, immediately.
