Dear Friends,
Pacific Justice Institute has a special announcement—we have released our newest legal resource for churches: Four Types of Church-Parent Homeschool Co-ops.
As multitudes of parents remove their children from the public school system and pursue alternative education options, PJI is here to work with churches to consider four ways a church could offer a homeschool co-op program. We want to equip churches to protect our next generation and impart godly values through education.
PJI’s free church resource further provides a legal discussion on local zoning ordinances and answers these questions from churches:
- Is there a limit on how many students can meet for a co-op?
- Can a student be taught even though their parents may not be involved?
- Can a student be enrolled in an online private school program and still attend a co-op with adult supervision?
- Are there any insurance issues?
Four Types of Church-Parent Homeschool Co-ops is available on our website, PJI.org, at no charge. Please share this valuable resource with other churches! And if we can ever serve you or someone you know, please give us a call at (916) 857-6900.
Running the Race,
Brad Dacus, Esq.
