In 2018, we stunned the establishment by defeating out-of-touch incumbents
through a groundbreaking grassroots effort to elect organizers and working
people to Congress. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was our first recruited
candidate elected to the House.

In 2020, our movement grew stronger when we expanded the Squad with
members of Congress who were focused on representing the interests of
their communities, not corporations. Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and Marie
Newman joined seven other Justice Democrats in the House.

We’ve recruited and elected changemakers in Congress, creating a
mission-driven coalition fighting for bold and progressive change. And in
2022 — with your help — we’ll do it again.

We want to remind you about two of our 2022 endorsed candidates, Rana
Abdelhamid and Odessa Kelly. Rana and Odessa are community organizers
challenging corporate Democrats on a bold vision of social, racial, and
economic justice. For too long, Democratic incumbents have ignored many of
the issues facing working-class Americans and instead have worked on
behalf of corporations and wealthy CEOs to protect the status quo.

the most well-funded members of Congress. And just like Alexandria, Ilhan,
Jamaal, Cori, and every single Justice Democrat, they’ll never take a dime

calling corporate donors on a consultant’s Rolodex, but Rana and Odessa
are counting on organized people beating organized money.
