My friend Barbara Lee reached out to you about the right-wing recall effort underway here in California.

Recently, the stakes got even higher when the California Secretary of State announced the recall has enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, which is why I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to our cause today.

Republicans have a candidate in the race too. Caitlyn Jenner announced her bid to run for governor, and she’s running with the help of Donald Trump’s campaign manager and pollster.

I am not going to take this recall lying down, but I need your help to stop these Trump-allied extremists eager to undo our efforts to recover and keep our communities safe.

That’s why I’m coming to you — one of Barbara’s most fervent grassroots supporters — to stand up for Democrats in the face of this right-wing powergrab.
