Happy AAPI Heritage Month, John!
We are so grateful for the contributions that Asian American and Pacific Islander communities have made to further the development of our nation.
Operating at the intersections of both race and religion, their willingness to be vocal, even in the face of adversity, has inspired generations of leaders destined to reform our nation and push us forward!
Today, we pause to highlight the hard work of Tyler Do Santos-Tam, the chairman of the Democratic Party of Hawaii. Now the youngest state chair in the country, Tyler previously worked as a coordinator for the Hawaii division of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, working with battleground states to ensure Democratic victory.
As state chairman, his commitment to securing a progressive future for the working people of Hawaii has been unwavering and has helped him ensure the continued involvement of state party members across the state.
At Amplify Action, we strive to ensure that each and every community has representation that is not only diverse but community-focused. Tyler’s leadership is an inspiration and is an amazing example of what we strive to create through our activism.
Today, as we commemorate their heritage, we recall the sacrifices made by the Asian American and Pacific Islander community around the world for Black life and liberty, and recommit ourselves to the goal of diversity and inclusion. Together we can continue to build a stronger and more loving country.
