Hi John,

Yesterday, Grant Robertson set out Budget 2021, focused on securing our recovery and growing our economy, while tackling the long term challenges Labour was elected to address. In case you missed it, here’s just a taster of some of what this year’s Budget delivers:

- A major increase to main benefits, which will help lift up to 33,000 children out of poverty.

- More than 200,000 people in work over the next four years.

- A $200 million boost for Pharmac so more New Zealanders can access medicines, treatments and medical devices.

- A record investment in infrastructure to drive our economy.

- Support for 16,000 more sole parents, carers and people with disabilities to undertake study through the Training Incentive Allowance.

- Healthier homes and lower power bills for more than 47,000 families through insulation and heating retrofits.

I’m really proud of the work we're doing to address the biggest issues our country faces, while driving a strong recovery for all New Zealanders.

But to continue to make lasting and generational change, we need a strong Labour team at the helm. And we can only do that with your support.

John, will you donate to help Jacinda, Grant and the whole team share the Budget’s achievements across New Zealand, and get ready for the next election? Every contribution from people just like you ensures that Labour can get our message out, and helps us keep making the kind of change for people across New Zealand that you’ve seen in the Budget.

YES, I’LL DONATE <[link removed]>Thanks to the changes made by our Government since 2017, more than 100,000 families will now be, on average, $175 a week better off. This will make a huge difference for New Zealanders on the lowest incomes, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. We are proud to be a people-powered Party – everything we do is on your behalf and because of your support.

Thank you for everything you’ve done to get us here. And remember, every single dollar counts, and no amount is too small to make a real difference in the days, months, and years ahead. <[link removed]>
