My team sent you a message yesterday asking if you’d sign a petition urging Larry Hogan to keep the Covid unemployment benefits in place. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll sign it now. →

Ensuring that Hogan is not the next Republican governor to revoke these benefits is essential in protecting our state. Families rely on this extra help, and to end these benefits now while people are still struggling would be detrimental to our state’s recovery.
Maryland’s next governor will be in charge of building a post-Covid economy. I’m ready to take on this challenge and rebuild a Maryland economy that is stronger and more equitable than ever before.
But before we get to that point, we still have Governor Hogan in office, and we need to ensure he does not make the same mistake that so many GOP governors have in cutting expanded unemployment benefits.
Join me, and together we’ll speak up to let Larry Hogan know that we Marylanders strongly believe that he should not revoke Covid unemployment benefits. →
