In just a few days, CADEM and the CDP LGBTQ Caucus is kicking off Pride season [[link removed]] with a celebration of the legacy of Harvey Milk – a visionary whose courageous work to end discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the 1970s set the stage for many of the civil rights advances we see today.

Harvey Milk fought tirelessly to transform America into a more loving, inclusive, and equitable nation where everyone can live and love without fear and with dignity.

We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, and as we continue those fights today, it’s important to take time to remember our past and celebrate our future.

On Saturday at 11am , join LGBTQ+ Democratic Party activists, community leaders, musicians -- and most importantly YOU -- as we discuss building the bench of LGBTQ+ leadership in elected office and celebrate those serving now.
