[1]Bowman for Congress

John, we have
some exciting news to share:

Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed a bill to create a
"9/11-style" commission to investigate the January 6th attack on the U.S.
Capitol. The bill passed 252-175, with 35 Republicans voting alongside
Democrats.

This win echoes a key part of the COUP Act, which was Jamaal's first piece
of legislation in Congress. Forming a 9/11-style commission was a huge
part of that bill, and it was a groundbreaking piece of legislation that
was the first of its kind to call for an investigation between the January
6th attack, Capitol Police, and white nationalism. Now, we have to ensure
that this commission works transparently to get the answers and
accountability the American people need.

Wins like this prove exactly why it's so important to continue pushing for
change we deserve in Washington. Bold and progressive ideas are no longer
"radical" or out of left field; they are popular and winning.

John, things like
the COUP Act and passing bold legislation is only possible if we work
together. Jamaal is determined to continue disrupting the status quo and
fighting for our communities, but he can't do it alone.

and so that Jamaal can continue fighting for our progressive values.
