Dear John-- Our D.C. chapter is currently considering whether to endorse and support Washington D.C. statehood. We know that statehood would mean actual Congressional representation for Iranian Americans, and all Americans, living in the city. However, we cannot move forward until we have a clear mandate from our members. That’s why we’re asking you to please answer this one-question survey to determine whether or not we have a mandate from our members to support DC Statehood. We promise it won’t take more than a minute of your time. Our chapter is ready to add the fight for statehood to our mandate. But until we know where our community stands on the issue, we can't make the critical decision to do so. Thank you in advance for your participation and we'll keep you updated on the final results!
