Friend -

GOP lawmakers are paying $500 fines instead of just wearing their masks on the House floor.

Congress still has strict mask mandates for representatives when they are in the chamber because many Republican Congressmembers have not yet gotten their vaccines.

Instead of just wearing a mask for the health and safety of their colleagues, a handful of Republicans are refusing to mask and willing to pay the $500 fine instead.

They’re spending $500 to make a political statement.

I am a warehouse manager from central Ohio, a veteran of the Army, and a father. Like most working folks, I don’t have $500 to spare.

But many of our members of Congress are political elites who’ve never had to worry about living paycheck to paycheck. They’ve never struggled to pay rent or put food on the table. $500 just doesn’t mean that much to them.

I think it’s time to elect more working folks to Congress who understand the day to day struggles many Americans face.

Unlike my Republican opponent, our campaign is fully-funded by grassroots donors like you. All of our advertisements, literature, and yard signs are paid for by generous friends like you. I understand the importance of money and will put your hard earned dollars to work.

I need the help of supporters like you to stand up to the rich political elites in Washington, so please consider chipping in any amount you can today.
