Hi there,
Progressives running for governor have the Democratic Governors Association on their side, state legislators have the Democratic Legislative Campaign committee -- what national organization do school board and education candidates have to lean on for support and guidance?
It's us, John.
And right now, they need us more than ever:
education-related elections are the hottest hyper-partisan battlegrounds, and Republicans are gearing up for a serious showdown.
These seats play a critical role in the health, safety, and education of the next generation. From debating reopening schools safely to ensuring adequate funding and inclusive curriculums -- we need to make sure good progressives have a seat at the table.
In 2021 alone, we've endorsed 27 diverse young progressives in school board and state board of education elections. Will you chip in
$5
to help support them?

To give you an idea as to what's happening, a quick example: The Carroll Independent School District in Southlake, Texas introduced a proposal to combat racial and cultural intolerance in their schools. That's good!
But in response to this "threat" of training teachers and educating students about America's issues with race --
local conservatives started a PAC, funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars into local and municipal elections, and killed the proposal for good.
Now, this kind of weaponization of education is nothing new. Conservatives have been doing this for decades, but this time, Run for Something is prepared to fight back.
It's time for conservatives to quit undercutting students' education. We're going to elect progressives who are ready to champion a thoughtful curriculum. But we can't do it without you. Chip in
$5
to help endorse and support even more candidates.
Thank you,
