Team -- there's a reason you can register to vote at your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), through mail-in applications, and at state and local offices. It's all because of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) -- which was signed into law nearly thirty years ago today!

The NVRA was an enormous victory for voting rights. It was a step toward making it easier instead of harder for people to register to vote. Its passage literally helped MILLIONS of people get registered.

But passing the NVRA was just one step. In 2021 alone, state legislatures have introduced (and passed) more than 360 voter suppression laws. We need to push for expansive voter protection laws to help fight back, and we want to hear from the American people about your take on this important issue ?

More than 360 restrictive voter suppression laws have been introduced in state legislatures across the country. Do you think Congress should prioritize defending the right to vote?
