We will not tolerate the GOP's attempted gaslighting, John.
Yesterday, news broke that Mitch McConnell OPPOSES the creation of a commission to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
McConnell is making it loud and clear that he couldn’t care less about accountability or the damage his GOP — including seditionists like Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Lauren Boebert, and Marjorie Taylor Greene — have wreaked on our democracy.
It's time to send him our own message: Women’s Marchers will never stop fighting until every Republican who helped incite a deadly white supremacist insurrection is kicked out of office.
That’s why today we’re asking: Can you chip in $3 or anything you can to help power our 2022 Election Fund? Together, we can leverage the power of our women-led movement to continue removing failed leaders from office – including Trump’s Sedition Caucus.
DONATE $3 →McConnell and his GOP friends like Cruz, Hawley, Greene, and Boebert are hoping we forget what we saw — what the whole world saw — when white nationalists stormed the Capitol. They call themselves the party of "law and order" yet oppose investigating this riot that killed a member of the U.S. Capitol Police.
Let's make this clear: True unity is out of our reach until we investigate this riot and make sure it never happens again. It's more than just a hashtag or a talking point. Unity starts with accountability and meaningful action to ensure that our votes and voices are represented in Congress.
True unity can *only* be forged when our leaders start serving their constituents in the same way women-led movements have worked together this past year to protect voters rights and pass critical COVID relief.
Instead, Mitch McConnell continues to put his party’s interests above our democracy.
Together,
Women’s March
