Dear John,

 

This week, I introduced a budget for fiscal year 2022 alongside Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks. 

 

It’s full of common-sense spending measures, helps restore fiscal responsibility in Washington, D.C., and works for Americans at every single income level.  

 

Unlike Democrats who haven’t produced a budget in well over 2 years, my Republican colleagues and I understand that in order to strengthen America we must get our financial house in order!

 

We saw under President Trump that pro-growth policies work. When you give Americans more control over their hard-earned income, great things happen! Markets, consumer confidence, and revenues grow across the board. Layer that on top of tax cuts, and you’ve got a winning strategy that puts Americans first. 

 

I’m working to get the message out on this budget, but I need your help doing that. Not just by calling more moderate Democrats and encouraging them to read the bill and support it, but by donating today so we can work to educate Americans on what this bill includes. Things like: 

• Balancing the budget in 5 years

• Reducing spending by $14.4 trillion over 10 years

• Reduction of the overall tax burden by $1.9 trillion (that’s almost $16,000 per household!)

• No money to directly or indirectly facilitate or subsidize abortions

• Secures our border

• Eliminates earmarks

• Outlines real health care reform to lower costs and increase accessibility to quality care

• And so much more!

Nancy Pelosi has already instructed the House Budget Committee not to prepare a budget. She wants to continue to spend without reverence. But to every penny spent without accountability.
