John, The Trump administration implemented over 300 changes to interior enforcement with one overarching goal: subject all undocumented immigrants to enforcement actions. President Biden committed to reversing many of those changes and building a fairer and more humane immigration system. Over 100 days into his time in office, what has Biden accomplished on immigration enforcement so far? What remains from the Trump era? And what should the Biden administration focus on to meet its commitments?
We will be following these developments closely to hold the Biden administration accountable.
Sincerely,
Jorge Loweree Policy Director |
