John, the CT
Democratic Party’s work to promote and defend LGBTQ rights is a
big part of why Connecticut is one of the most LGBTQ-friendly
states in the country.

I’ve been so proud to work with the CT Dems this year as Co-Chair
of the CT Dems LGBTQ Caucus to advocate for every LGBTQ
individual and family in our state.

I’m also proud of the incredible work that Connecticut’s entire
Congressional delegation has accomplished so far this year — from
passing the American Rescue Plan to the Equality Act and other
efforts that help the lives and livelihoods of families today.

I am no stranger to the inner workings of Congress. As you may
know, I was once Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro’s longtime campaign
manager, so I know the work it takes to elect candidates who vote
our values.

As we prepare to defend our Democratic majorities in the midterm
elections, I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a
strong State Party working on the ground to mobilize voters as
well as support our Congressional delegation and statewide
candidates.
