Be a voice for the unborn child
Hi John,

Welcome to this week's e-News

Please join Precious Life and be "a voice for the unborn child" outside the Belfast High Court next week on Wednesday 26 May and Thursday 27 May. The so-called 'NI Human Rights Commission' is taking legal action over the "delay" in providing abortion across the whole of Northern Ireland. Since March last year over 1345 little babies have already been killed by abortion in Northern Ireland. But this isn't enough for the Commission. Through this court case, they want to force the Stormont Assembly to facilitate the killing of even more babies Please give us a call on 02890278484 for times and meeting point.

Tuesday 25th May is the three year anniversary of when the Republic of Ireland voted to legalise the killing of unborn babies (coincidentally 25th May is also International Missing Children's Day.) Official figures in 2020 showed 6,666 babies were killed by abortion in Ireland. That figure will be much higher now. On the 25th May, there will be a minutes silence held at 12noon, and we will light a candle in our homes at 8pm, to remember and honour all the babies lost to abortion in Ireland, and the women harmed by abortion. Please unite with us as we remember these innocent babies and please send us a photo of your remembrance candle by emailing them to [email protected] or messaging us on Facebook.  Please also share this with your family, friends and on social media using the hashtags: #WeRememberThem and #RealityOfRepeal

We were outside the abortion centers again this week - in Belfast, Coleraine, Derry and Newry. If you can, please join us this coming week - to hold a sign or simply pray. Give us a call on 02890278484 or email [email protected].

If you would like to join us at our Street Outreach this Saturday, please give us a call on 02890278484 or email [email protected]Come along and help us set up our Pro-Life Information Stall; hand out leaflets, and collect signatures for our REPEAL SECTION 9 Campaign

Remember this year's RALLY FOR LIFE is on Saturday 3rd July - so SAVE THE DATE !!!  There will be an Online Event streamed live across the world - but local rallies will also be held around the country. Precious Life is busy organising "Life Chain" events across Northern Ireland (in accordance with whatever covid regulations are in place in July). Our Life Chains are planned for Belfast, Derry and Newry, and in counties Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, and Tyrone. Contact us if you would like to help organise an event in your area - call 02890278484 or email [email protected].

Best regards,

ACTION ALERT - Contact SDLP MLA Sinead McLaughlin

Pro-abortion SDLP Assembly Member Sinead McLaughlin has boasted on Twitter that she asked the Health Minister to ensure more abortions are carried out in the Western Health Trust.

TAKE ACTION
Contact Sinead McLaughlin and tell her that you want all unborn babies in Northern Ireland protected from abortion.

If you live in the Foyle constituency, also remind her that she was not elected to the Assembly - her Party only co-opted her into the Assembly after Colum Eastwood became an MP. With a new Assembly Election expected next year (May 2022) tell her that she will not be receiving a vote from you or your family and friends while she continues to support the killing of unborn babies.

Contact Sinead McLaughlin by phone, letter, email, facebook, or twitter

US Supreme Court to decide on abortion ban

In 1973, the Supreme Court's "Roe v. Wade" ruling struck down many federal and state abortion laws and legalised the killing of unborn babies across the whole of the USA.

Since then, pro-lifers have been waiting for the Supreme Court to take a case that could see the end of "Roe v Wade"

SAVE THE DATE

The Rally for Life is the largest annual pro-life gathering in Ireland, and is highly-regarded as an exciting, colourful, life-affirming event. Centred around a major pro-life March on the first Saturday of July, the Rally has now grown into a whole Pro-Life Festival celebrating life.

In 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Rally for Life events were hosted online - but with 36 local rallies held around the country. Precious Life organised Life Chain events in the cities of Belfast, Derry and Newry, and in counties Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, and Tyrone.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, this year's 'physical' Rally looks unlikely to go ahead and will be hosted online. But Precious Life will also once again organise more Life Chain events across Northern Ireland (in accordance with whatever regulations are in place in July). We will keep you up-to-date over the coming weeks. Contact us if you would like to help organise an event in your area.

Meanwhile, you can relive some of the colourful highlights of previous years' rallies in these videos here 😊📢🎈
