John --

The Republicans are taking the Big Lie circus act on the road, and their two ringleaders are exactly who you would expect -- Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

These two kicked off their “America First” tour in central Florida recently, and it was chock full of the detachment from reality that we've all come to expect from Republicans these days.

Greene, the QAnon conspiracy theorist from Georgia, joked about how she had time to travel to Florida because she had been kicked off her committee assignments in the House. What she didn't mention is that the reason she was kicked off was for social media posts where she said school shootings were faked and called for the assassination of Democratic officials.

Gaetz, who is under investigation for alleged sex trafficking, riled up the crowd with talk of violent rebellion and second amendment rights. As he always does, he emphasized his relationship with Donald Trump and said Trump might even appear at these rallies in the future.

They even had their own call-and-response planned out -- Greene yelled out to the crowd, “Tell me who's your president!”

With no hesitation, hundreds of Trump's supporters yelled back: “Donald Trump!”

Make no mistake, if these two had their way, the legitimate results of the 2020 election would be thrown away and Donald Trump would be installed as a dictator in the White House. Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene have captured the soul of the Republican Party. We cannot let them or their fanatic right-wing allies rest for a moment if we want to beat them in 2022.

The GOP is using its full bag of tricks to enrage its base and get them to turn out in 2022. Thank you for helping us show them that the American people won't be backing down.
