Just last week HR 1, the For the People Act, went before the Senate Rules Committee - but there’s a slim chance of it going any farther.

This bill expands early voting and safeguards voters’ rights. But the GOP are painting these crucial protections as “absolutely devastating for Republicans” and a “power grab”.

The party of voter suppression doesn’t want their tried-and-true tactic overturned. But we can’t let a political party damage the fundamental rules of democracy.
