This is a huge deal, John. As a longtime champion for reproductive rights, Lois is appalled that state legislatures across the country continue to try to limit reproductive freedom.

And now, the Supreme Court — which now includes 3 Trump appointees including Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett — has agreed to hear arguments in a Mississippi case that may further jeopardize Roe v. Wade.

The fact that conservatives are still arguing about Roe v. Wade some 50 years after it was passed is ludicrous. The fact is that making abortions harder to get or even illegal does not stop abortions — it just makes it that much more dangerous and unsafe.
