Right now, Republicans are shamefully attempting to rewrite history when it comes to the events of January 6. We all know that the insurrection at the Capitol was nothing short of an act of domestic terrorism, but not the GOP. One Republican called it “a normal tourist visit.”

This is a crystal clear warning that we cannot let the Democratic congressional majorities fall back into the Republicans’ hands. Will you pitch in $5 to keep the Senate blue?

The revisionist history of the attack didn’t stop there -- the same Republican congressman actually said that the Trump loyalists who stormed the Capitol “behaved in an orderly fashion.”

I’m sorry, but ransacking and vandalizing the U.S. Capitol while dressed in tactical gear and helmets, injuring more than 140 police officers and leading to the deaths of five people, is not behaving in an orderly fashion.

Here’s the simple truth: the GOP will say whatever it takes to try and cover up the events of January 6, but the American people will not forget what happened that day. And we aren’t going to let Congress fall back into the hands of the party that wants to sweep it all under the rug.
