When President Biden took office, he promised to fix the unemployment that stemmed from the pandemic. Now nearly five months later, job reports are weak. A fraction of the jobs that were promised have actually materialized.

Biden began his approach to “job creation” by killing jobs. In his first month as President, Biden canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline, a project which planned to create over 11,000 jobs.

Meanwhile, 40% of unemployed Americans are staying on the sidelines rather than returning to work. And now, in the latest jobs report, Biden’s policies were only able to create a quarter of the jobs that were estimated.

We need to get America back to work. That means implementing policies that ensure Americans are supporting themselves and their families, rather than creating a never-ending string of government programs paid for by new and higher taxes.
