Dear John,

As a woman of color and the only U.S. Senator to give birth while serving in office, my friend, Senator Tammy Duckworth, is used to breaking down barriers. She's also used to delivering results for working families and standing up for what's right.

When she was a soldier in Iraq, Tammy was awarded the Purple Heart for her bravery and dedication to serving our country. She continued this service as a member of Congress and then a United States Senator from Illinois, where she's been an incredibly effective lawmaker.

It's been a privilege to serve alongside Tammy in the Senate, where I've seen up close how hard she works and the results she delivers for her constituents. Now, Tammy is up for re-election and national Republicans have already made her a target. We need to keep Tammy's voice in the Senate, so I'm reaching out today for your help.

Will you split a contribution between Tammy's campaign and ours to ensure she has the resources she needs to win re-election?

As long as I've known Tammy, she's met the moment she was in and never wavered from her commitment to service. During the last administration, Tammy was never afraid to challenge the former President or hold him accountable for his words and actions. During this new administration, Tammy has helped pass the American Rescue Plan and the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act, and is advocating for the passage of the American Families Plan.

We can't risk losing Tammy's voice next year, and we also can't risk losing her seat to someone who will roll back the progress she's made. So can Tammy and I count on your support?

Split a contribution between Tammy's campaign and ours. Together we can protect Tammy's seat -- and the Democratic Senate majority.
