Together, you and I, with tens of thousands of others – including a growing roster of allied organizations, are undertaking the last critical battle to add the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to the U.S. Constitution.
We really can’t afford for any one of our supporters to stay silent in this effort, and that is why I’m calling upon you today. Will you take bold action right now? [[link removed]]

It’s up to us to demand an end to the Senate filibuster — not only for the ERA, but for the preservation of our democracy, expansion of voting rights, raising the minimum wage, dealing with climate change, passing commonsense gun laws, providing a path to citizenship for Dreamers, reducing violence against women, passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, and increasing access to reproductive rights and justice.
Many hurdles have been overcome, but one last hurdle remains:
* 38 states have ratified the ERA;
* U.S. House has voted to remove the arbitrary time limit;
* Now, the Senate MUST act. [[link removed]].
With MAJORITY support in the Senate (we know we have it!) to remove the time limit blocking the ERA — we must not let a Mitch McConnell-led filibuster stand in our way.
