Dear Friend,

Last Thursday, Young Center supporters, staff, volunteers, and ambassadors gathered online to celebrate the courage and resilience of immigrant children. We honored our very first Waymaker: Founder and Executive Director Maria Woltjen, who will be retiring at the end of June after 18 years of passionately fighting for unaccompanied immigrant children and changing the system to integrate child protection principles into practice, policy, and the law. We are so thankful to everyone who participated in the event and made it a success. In case you missed this inspiring evening, you can watch the highlights in a video here.

Through this Spring Soirée, you helped raised $295,000 for our work with immigrant children! Thank you so much for standing with children seeking safety from violence, persecution, and extreme poverty. Help us reach our goal of $300,000 by donating now. We are so close, and every dollar makes a difference, ensuring that our fight for the human rights of children continues!

Help us reach our goal

P.S. While the rest of our Spring Soirée Auction has closed, we have one exclusive item available until tomorrow, May 20, at 07:00pm ET/06:00pm CT. Don't miss the chance to bid on a beautiful Fender guitar autographed by some of the biggest stars in the Sony Music Latin family, including Camilo, Farina, Leslie Grace, ChocQuibTown, Manuel Turizo, and Fonseca. All proceeds from the auction support our work with children facing deportation. Thank you for making a difference.

BID NOW

Thank you,
The Young Center

The Young Center works with the most vulnerable unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in federal custody, so their voices are heard, and their best interests are protected. We also advocate for an immigration system that treats children as children. To learn more about work, visit theyoungcenter.org or follow us on social media. Click here to donate.
