Anyone who knows anything about Washington State knows about my friend, Senator Patty Murray. A role model for all of us, Patty Murray has been a fierce leader for women and working families ever since she was elected as the first female Senator to represent our great state.

It's an honor to serve alongside Senator Murray in the other Washington. Although we work in separate chambers of Congress, we've gotten bicameral legislation written and passed together to protect our environment and expand economic opportunity.

In the years I've worked alongside our senator, I've gotten to know her as a strong advocate and dedicated public servant. Simply put -- Patty Murray gets things done. Now, this incredible for-the-people champion is up for re-election, and I'm asking you to join us:

Look, I know I talk a lot about defending the House majority, but the truth is the Senate majority is on the line next year too.
