John, we're asking you to split an urgent $3 donation to stop the recall in California and defend Gavin Newsom from far-right attacks.

We're sorry to be blunt, but here's why this is so important:

FIRST: Unlike Donald Trump, Governor Newsom responded to the pandemic by putting science first, speeding up vaccine deployment, and helping working families and businesses get back to normal.

THEN: Republicans FORCED a recall election anyway, and a number of far-right candidates jumped in to defeat Gavin -- including pseudo-celebrity Caitlyn Jenner.

NOW: The far right has pledged a whopping $15 million to continue attacking Gavin with deceptive smears.

We expect A LOT of lies to start flying around on the airwaves. They already distorted the facts to get this recall on the ballot, we'd be naive to think they won't do it again. The good news is we have a plan to fight back:

1. Raise resources to defend Gavin and defeat this recall, and 2. Get the word out about California's pandemic response so folks know what's really going on.
