The Texas legislature is meeting behind closed doors this week to try to craft the final version of their voter suppression bill.

This may be our last chance to stop it in its tracks. This is an all-hands-on-deck moment, so I’m asking you to make a donation to support our fight at People First to stop this bill and elect progressive champions for voting rights.

The Texas House and Senate each passed their versions already, so now they are trying to hammer out their differences in a conference committee.

That means this is our last chance to stop this bill before it reaches Governor Abbott’s desk.

This bill is a top priority for Republicans in Texas who see the writing on the wall. They know they’re losing their grip on our state and are trying to suppress the vote to hold on to power.

We need every grassroots supporter to speak out, and chip in what they can to safeguard our democracy. We can’t match their spending, but we have the numbers on our side.
