** WEBINAR: How Technology is Fueling an Equitable Recovery in Washington State ([link removed])
Featuring Rep. Suzan DelBene (WA-01)
------------------------------------------------------------

The Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) is pleased to host U.S. Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01), OneRedmond, Tabor 100, and the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) for a virtual event highlighting the role that technology has played in driving Washington’s economic growth and recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will highlight the importance of technology platforms and digital tools for empowering Washington businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion will also cover the need for elected officials to recognize and promote continued economic development and investment in Washington spurred by the technology sector, in addition to preserving the accessibility and affordability of critical digital services that have supported minority-owned businesses, in particular, this past year.

Additionally, the event will offer the chance to further discuss data from PPI’s recent study – Innovative Job Growth in the 21st Century: Has the Tech-Ecommerce Ecosystem Become the New Manufacturing? ([link removed]) – which situated Washington atop the nation in PPI’s Tech-Ecommerce-Manufacturing Index, and found the state has added over 142,000 jobs in the tech-ecommerce space over the past decade.

This event is open to the public. YouTube information will be provided after registration.
