Five years ago, I decided to run for governor to make a difference in the lives of people across our state — to grow the middle class, invest in our future, lead the fight against climate change, and put people ahead of corporations.

But the COVID-19 pandemic has laid bare the real inequities that still exist for far too many New Jerseyans and made it clear that there is still so much work left to do.
