Hi John,

As the violence in the Occupied Palestinian Territories escalates, civilians bear the brunt of the suffering.

But the US can help put an end to the violence. Call on the US government to take immediate action now.

Israel’s discrimination and displacement of Palestinians is at the root of this crisis. Through committing war crimes and repeatedly violating international law, Israel has a deplorable record of unlawful killing and injuring of thousands of civilians, displacing tens of thousands and destroying homes, businesses and infrastructure. Palestinian armed groups have also committed some violations of international humanitarian law, including war crimes, with impunity.

As Israel’s closest ally, the US has an important role to play. The US government can use its power to help bring an end to the violence against long-suffering civilians.

The decades of violence, discrimination, and injustice experienced by Palestinians is at the root of this crisis.

Until the US urges Israel to address these root causes, the violence will continue.

Call on US Secretary of State Blinken, to take immediate action now to help end the violence.
