For decades America has led the world in science and technology –– and the world is a better place because of it.

But now that status is being challenged.

China is rapidly closing the technology gap after decades of intellectual property theft, industrial espionage, and cutting corners wherever they can. 

President Xi doesn’t believe in accountability and transparency and there’s not much he won’t do to fuel China’s rise –– even if it means committing genocide against Uighurs, covering up the origins of the coronavirus outbreak, or squashing democracy in Hong Kong.

China’s rise threatens our national security, economic competitiveness, and our way of life, and we need to respond to this challenge the same way we did at the start of the Cold War.

American companies will have no chance competing against their Chinese counterparts if Democrat leadership keeps burdening them with taxes and regulations. If we keep following this strategy, it will only be a matter of time before China pulls ahead in the technology race.

That’s the last thing we can afford.
