Hi Friend,

Tom knows that being an ally starts with listening directly to communities and the people who live in them. So before he speaks at CNN’s first-ever LGBTQI town hall on Thursday, October 10 (tune in at 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time / 11:30 p.m. Eastern Time), he wants to know about the issues facing you or your LGBTQI loved ones. Tell Tom what you want to see discussed during the town hall, and we’ll share your responses with him before he takes the stage [link removed]. [link removed]

Right now, the LGBTQI community is facing a hateful administration that is fueling prejudice and violence within this country. Violence against black trans women has reached epidemic proportions — at least 18 women have been murdered this year alone. And this week, the Supreme Court will be making a decision in several landmark cases that could allow employers to discriminate against workers based on sexuality or gender.

We must ensure that all our voices are being heard. Now is the time to tell the stories that matter and ask the hard questions — take a moment to submit yours to Tom before the town hall.

Thanks,
