On January 6, a violent mob incited by Donald Trump breached the U.S. Capitol while Jason and other members of Congress prepared to certify the results of the November election.

The attack on January 6 resulted from a months-long disinformation campaign by Trump and his allies and years of enabling by his inner circle.
