As you know, Floridians overwhelmingly support medical marijuana. Just a few years ago, more than 70% of voters passed Amendment 2, expanding access throughout the state.

And the benefits are clear.

Medical marijuana reduces opioid abuse, helps our veterans manage PTSD, alleviates stress and anxiety, and generates substantial revenue for state and local governments.

However, some of my Republican colleagues are working to undermine the voters' will. That's why during the 2021 legislative session, I drafted and introduced the "Medical Marijuana Public Employee Protection Act."

My comprehensive legislation would improve statewide medical marijuana practices by establishing:

✅ Free medical marijuana cards for veterans

✅ Medical marijuana card reciprocity for out-of-state patients

✅ Expanded telehealth for medical marijuana patients

✅ Advanced research programs for DUI and testing applications

✅ Employee protections for medical marijuana patients

Unfortunately, the Republican Majority blocked our efforts during this year's legislative session. I won't stop fighting though -- because Florida residents have a right to medical marijuana.

But I need your help.

Can you print, sign, and mail back our candidate petition form? This is crucial to getting on the ballot in 2022, and we need 1,200 Florida voters to complete our petition.

Thank you for your support.
