John, tonight —
just moments ago — we won AGAIN. And we owe it all to you.

In a moment, I will ask you to help continue this momentum everywhere. But
first, I want to explain why tonight’s results are so significant.

Four years ago, we shocked the political, law enforcement, and criminal
justice establishment by winning the District Attorney race in
Philadelphia.

Together, we built a broad multiracial and multigenerational movement, not
just from every corner of this city, but from every corner of the country.

That is how we were able to win not just once, but twice.

Through the course of this re-election campaign, thousands of people
helped out. Together, we knocked on 15,704 doors, made 442,185 calls, and
sent 327,635 texts to Philadelphia voters. Many more spread our message on
social media or contributed to our campaign. In total, we raised $1.3
million – from 22,422 donors.

Let me tell you: every ounce of that hard work is paying off tonight.

We delivered a resounding message — to all the police unions, crooked
prosecutors, and right wing PACs — that THE PEOPLE aren’t buying what
they’re selling anymore.

That THE PEOPLE are demanding real justice and accountability in our
justice system.

That THE PEOPLE have the grassroots strength necessary to take on whatever
dark money they throw against us.

But the simple truth is that our fight is not over. Not by a longshot.

Although we’ve made tremendous strides — both locally and nationally — we
need to bring this same energy and progress to even more cities around the
country.

My dear friends at Real Justice and Grassroots Law PAC — who were critical
in these victories — are working hard to elect more transformative DA’s,
city council members, and mayors all over. And I can guarantee that the
kitchen sink the establishment threw at me in this election is going to be
used again and again and again against other candidates willing to buck
the status quo.

Corrupt police groups are going to go even bigger across the country now
that we beat them here in Philadelphia. This movement needs to be ready.

What we have achieved here in Philadelphia is nothing short of historic.

cash, and smear campaigns — not once, but TWICE — and came out victorious.
